风力和太阳能发电能力增加将削减美国天然气需求

　　据道琼斯1月19日消息，花旗集团表示，天然气价格受益于燃煤发电厂关闭的蜜月期或正在结束。今年美国可能将关闭约5千兆瓦的燃煤发电能力，相当于增加3亿立方英尺/天的天然气需求。但是今年美国将新增1.8万兆瓦的太阳能和风力发电能力，相当于减少10亿立方英尺/天的天然气需求。花旗表示，这可能导致天然气价格下跌20美分-25美分/百万英热单位。周三美国天然气期货收盘价格为3.3美元/百万英热单位。

　　Natural-gas prices may be running out of added juice thats coming from coal-fired power-plant closings, says Citi. This years closings will probably account for about 5 gigawatts of power, the equivalent of 300M cubic feet of daily gas demand. But solar and wind power will add a combined 18GW of capacity to the US power system, which equates to 1Bcf of gas. Citi says that could drag natural-gas prices down 20-25c/MMBtu. Futures closed Wednesday at $3.30.
