IMO出台新的低硫燃料规定对新建炼油厂来说没有问题

　　据道琼斯3月9日消息，英国石油公司（BP）资深经济学家Kaushik Deb表示，过去五年新建的炼油厂在生产满足国际海事组织（IMO）低硫标准的船舶燃料或柴油方面应该没有什么问题，因为这些炼油厂使用了先进的炼油技术。IMO要求从2020年开始所有船只必须使用硫含量不超过0.5%的燃料，与当前3.5%的硫含量相比将大幅下降。这可能意味着近期柴油需求将大幅增加。

　　[Dow Jones] Refineries that were built in the last five years should have no problem producing low sulfur marine fuel or diesel that meets the new International Marine Organizations low-sulfur standard because they are advanced in technology, says Kaushik Deb, a senior economist at British Petroleum. IMO requires that, starting 2020, all ships must only use fuel that contains no more than 0.5% sulfur, a huge drop from the current 3.5%. This could mean a sharp rise in diesel demand in the near future.
