IOG出售北海天然气资产的50%权益

据普氏能源资讯2019年7月26日伦敦报道，英国上游独立石油天然气公司(IOG)日前已同意以4000万英镑的价格把其位于北海的天然气资产的50%权益出售给美国伯克希尔哈撒韦能源公司旗下的子公司CalEnergy资源公司(CER)，IOG寻求把其核心项目转向最终投资决策。

IOG估计，其北海南部核心地区的天然气储量为4100亿立方英尺(116亿立方米)，其中包括3个气田组成的Vulcan 中心开发项目、规模较小的Blythe 中心项目以及戈达德天然气发现项目。

IGO还拥有泰晤士天然气管道，并正在收购位于巴克斯顿终端的一个进口设施。

IOG周五表示，该公司已与CER签署了具有约束力的最终协议，出售其北海资产的50%权益，其中包括该公司所有上游资产(哈维许可证除外)以及泰晤士管道和泰晤士接收设施。

IGO首席执行官安德鲁?霍基表示：“对IOG来说，向CER出售北海天然气资产50%权益是一项具有里程碑意义的交易。”

CER已经同意支付4000万英镑(5000万美元)作为初始现金支付，并同意支付IOG项目开发成本的1.25亿英镑。

UK upstream junior Independent Oil and Gas (IOG) has agreed to sell 50% of its North Sea gas assets to CalEnergy Resources (CER) -- a subsidiary of US-based Berkshire Hathaway Energy -- as IOG looks to move its core project toward final investment decision.

IOG has estimated gas reserves at its core Southern North Sea development, which includes the three-field Vulcan hub development, the smaller Blythe hub and the Goddard gas discovery, of 410 Bcf (11.6 Bcm).

It also owns the Thames gas pipeline and is buying an import facility at the Bacton terminal as it eyes first gas from the project in the early 2020s.

IOG said Friday it had signed binding definitive agreements with CER to farm out 50% of its North Sea assets, comprising all of the company's upstream assets (except for the Harvey licenses), as well as the Thames pipeline and Thames receiving facility.

"The farm-out to CalEnergy Resources is a landmark transaction for IOG," CEO Andrew Hockey said.

"We look forward with real optimism to realizing the significant value in our portfolio," Hockey said.

CER has agreed to pay GBP40 million ($50 million) in an initial cash payment as well as agreeing to pay up to GBP125 million of IOG's development costs for the project.
