Shelf Drilling为Trident16钻机合同延期

据海上能源3月9日报道，海上钻井承包商Shelf Drilling已为Trident 16自升式钻机签署了为期一年的合同延期。

Shelf Drilling公司周一表示，这项新合同将直接延续其与Belayim石油公司(Petrobel)在埃及近海的苏伊士湾的业务。

Trident 16自2015年以来一直与Petrobel在Belayim油田合作，此次延期，该钻机的预期可用时间为2021年2月。

先前的延期协议已于2019年1月达成协议。

Trident 16自升式钻机始建于1982年，最后一次升级是在2012年。该钻机采用Modec 300 C-38设计。

Shelf Drilling wins one-year extension in Egypt

Offshore drilling contractor Shelf Drilling has secured a one-year contract extension for the Trident 16 jack-up rig.

Shelf Drilling said on Monday that the new contract is in direct continuation of its current term with Belayim Petroleum Company (Petrobel) for operations in the Gulf of Suez offshore Egypt.

The Trident 16 has been working with Petrobel in Belayim fields since 2015, and following this extension, the expected availability of the rig is February 2021.

The previous extension was agreed back in January 2019.

The Trident 16 jack-up rig was built in 1982 and its last upgrade was in 2012. The rig is of a Modec 300 C-38 design.
