Russia cuts oil exports from its Western ports by a quarter in Aug. 1-10 vs July
Russia plans to cut its oil loadings from Baltic ports and Black Sea's Novorossiisk in Aug. 1-10 by nearly a quarter compared with July 1-10, according to the preliminary loading schedule and Reuters calculations.
Russia and other OPEC+ members agreed on easing of output curbs from August, but despite higher production expectations Russian oil exports remain on historical lows.
Overall exports from Baltic ports and Novorossiisk are set at 1.04 million tonnes compared to 1.36 million tonnes during July 1-10. That means loadings are down by some 24%, according to Reuters calculations.
Urals oil loadings from ports of Primorsk and Ust-Luga are set at 0.8 million tonnes for the first ten days of August compared with 0.9 million tonnes in the same period of July.
Urals and Siberian light oil loadings from Novorossiisk are set at 0.24 million tonnes in Aug. 1-10 compared with 0.46 million tonnes in July 1-10, according to the preliminary schedule.
