苏里南第58号区块可能拥有65亿桶石油储量

据今日石油2020年8月5日报道，美国跨国投资银行和金融服务公司摩根士丹利表示，对苏里南第58号区块建模显示，第58号区块潜在油气储量高达65亿桶油当量，该区块可分7个阶段开发，苏里南目标是在2026年开采出第一批石油。

美国阿帕奇公司在苏里南海上获得的第3个也是最大的一个发现Kwaskwasi-1井在钻进过程中在两个层段内钻遇了至少278米厚的纯石油和挥发油/凝析油地层，其中坎帕阶层段内钻遇了63米厚的纯石油地层和86米厚的纯挥发油/凝析油地层，而在桑托价层段中钻遇了129米厚的纯油气层。

摩根士丹利在一份研究报告中表示， “我们的苏里南模型说明了APA的 [阿帕奇] 第58区块的潜在价值。我们模拟了7个阶段开发的65亿桶油当量(59亿桶石油)。我们预测第58号区块将在2026年开采出首批石油，此后来自每个连续阶段的石油产量将逐年递增。

摩根士丹利进一步表示，“我们预计第58号区块第一阶段是一个较小的开发，其产量为5亿桶油当量(4.5亿桶石油)，浮式产油储油和卸油(FPSO)装置的日产能为12万桶。对于接下来的每个阶段，我们设想有10亿桶油当量（9亿桶石油)的产量，而FPSO的日产能为22万桶。“

摩根士丹利表示，苏里南第58区块的开发节奏是由美国石油巨头埃克森美孚公司在圭亚那海上斯塔布鲁克区块的计划决定的，埃克森美孚公司在去年12月开始位于斯塔布鲁克区块的丽莎大油田一期项目的石油生产，最高日产能为12万桶。埃克森美孚公司预计，到2026年前，在斯塔布鲁克区块的5个开发项目的石油日产量将增至75万桶以上。到目前为止，埃克森美孚公司已经在斯塔布鲁克区块内发现了超过80亿桶油当量的资源。

Suriname’s Block 58 could hold 6.5 billion barrels of oil – Morgan Stanley

US multinational investment bank and financial services company Morgan Stanley says its modelling of Suriname’s Block 58 shows that it contains a potential 6.5 billion barrels of oil equivalent resources which can be developed across seven phases with first oil targeted for 2026.

Kwaskwasi-1, Apache’s third and largest discovery offshore Suriname, encountered at least 278 meters of net oil and volatile oil/gas condensate pay across two intervals – Campanian – 63 meters of net oil pay and 86 meters of net volatile oil/gas condensate pay, and Santonian – 129 meters of net hydrocarbon pay.

“Our Suriname model illustrates potential value of APA’s [Apache] Block 58. We model 6.5 Bboe (5.9 Bbbl of oil) developed across 7 phases (MSe net asset value for APA ascribes 3 Bboe). We forecast first oil occurs in 2026, with production from each successive phase commencing in one-year increments thereafter,” the bank said in a research paper

“We assume the first phase is a smaller development of 500 MMBoe (450 MMbbls of oil) with floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit capacity of 120 Mbbl/d. For each following phase, we assume 1 BBoe (900 MMbbls of oil) of resource with FPSO capacity of 220 Mbbl/d,” Morgan Stanley further stated.

It said the development cadence for Block 58 is informed by US oil major ExxonMobil’s plans in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana, where it began producing oil last December at the Liza Phase 1 Development which has a peak capacity of 120,000 bpd. Exxon expects to ramp up production to over 750,000 bpd by 2026 across 5 developments at Stabroek Block. The company has so far found more than 8 billion barrels of oil equivalent resources on the block.
