据世界天然气网站9月8日消息 法国GTT公司继续赢得新订单,并从两家韩国造船厂获得了六艘液化天然气运输船的储罐设计合同。
该液化天然气控制专家表示,现代重工和现代三河正代表欧洲和亚洲船东建造这些船只。
每个储罐的容量为17.4万立方米,并将采用GTT的 Mark III Flex 薄膜安全壳系统。
壳牌公司8月初宣布,与这6艘液化天然气运输船签订了长期租船合同。
双燃料X-DF运输船每艘的价格约为2200亿韩元(1.85亿美元)。
这些船只将从2023年年中开始加入壳牌的定期租船贸易船队。
壳牌于2019年12月与同一家公司签订了第八艘类似船只的长期租船协议,这些船舶也将采用GTT的Mark III Flex技术。

GTT scores tank order for LNG carrier sextet
France’s GTT continues to win new orders and has secured a contract from two Korean shipyards for the tank design of six LNG carriers.
The LNG containment specialist said Hyundai Heavy and Hyundai Samho are building the vessels on behalf of European and Asian shipowners.
Furthermore, each vessel will have a capacity of 174,000-cbm and they will feature GTT’s Mark III Flex membrane containment system.
To remind, Anglo-Dutch energy giant Shell announced early August it entered long-term charter contracts for six such carriers.
The dual-fuel X-DF carriers have a price tag of about 220 billion won ($185 million), each.
The vessels will start joining Shell’s time-chartered trading fleet from mid-2023.
Shell inked long-term charter deals for eighth similar ships with the same firms in December 2019. These vessels will also feature GTT’s Mark III Flex tech.
