清洁能源与亚马逊合作开发负碳燃料

　　据4月19日offshore energy消息：美国替代燃料供应商清洁能源燃料和技术公司亚马逊已签署协议，提供低碳和负碳可再生天然气(RNG)。

　　可再生天然气(RNG)来源于有机废物分解产生的生物甲烷。根据加州空气资源委员会的数据，清洁能源通过销售成功地将危害气候的温室气体数量从60%减少到400%以上。

　　根据新协议，清洁能源将在其现有的27个加气站提供RNG，并在年底之前再建设19个新的或升级的清洁能源加气站。

　　这些加气站将在美国15个不同州提供RNG。

　　清洁能源首席执行官兼总裁安德鲁·J·利特菲尔说：“如果世界真的要解决气候变化问题，我们所有人都需要找到既环保又经济的解决方案，而这正是这份协议所支持的。”该公司在2013年率先将RNG作为一种汽车燃料商业化，现在全国每天都有数万辆汽车使用RNG。

　　Clean Energy and Amazon collaborate on carbon-negative fuel

　　U.S. alternative fuels supplier Clean Energy Fuels and technology company Amazon have signed an agreement to provide low and negative carbon renewable natural gas (RNG).

　　Renewable natural gas (RNG) is derived from biogenic methane produced by the breakdown of organic waste. Through its sales, Clean Energy managed to reduce the amount of climate-harming greenhouse gas from 60 per cent to over 400 per cent depending on the source of the RNG, according to the California Air Resources Board.

　　Under the new agreement, Clean Energy will be providing RNG at its 27 existing stations and another 19 new or upgraded Clean Energy-owned stations to be constructed by the end of the year.

　　These stations will provide this fuel in 15 different states in the U.S.

　　Andrew J. Littlefair, CEO and president of Clean Energy., said: “If the world is really going to tackle the issue of climate change, all of us need to find solutions that work both environmentally and economically, and that is exactly what this agreement supports. Clean Energy was the first to commercially make RNG available as a vehicle fuel in 2013 and now fuels tens of thousands of vehicles across the country every day.”
